Track metadata, such as BPM, tempo, energy, and mood
User settings and preferences (e.g. selected intensity zones)
Anonymous technical logs to improve performance and stability

We do NOT collect:

Your personal identity (name, email, etc.)
Your location
Your health or biometric data
Any content from messages or other apps

2. Data We Collect From Spotify

When you connect your Spotify account, we collect:

Music library information (playlists, saved tracks, listening history)
Audio attributes (BPM, energy, danceability, valence)
Track metadata (name, artist, album, duration)
User profile information for account identification

Data we do NOT collect from Spotify:

Location data
Health information (except what you explicitly share)
Messages or private communications content
Payment or billing information
Device identifiers beyond what's necessary for functionality

3. How We Use Your Data

Analyze tracks for BPM and rhythm
Generate playlists that match your activity or vibe
Improve the music-matching approach

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. No surveillance, no creepy stuff.

4. Data Storage & Retention

We do not permanently store your playlists or listening history
Analysis results are stored using secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption
Data is hosted on certified secure servers with appropriate access controls
Anonymous usage metrics may be retained for up to 12 months

Security measures include:

Data encryption in transit and at rest
Regular security audits and monitoring
Restricted access with role-based permissions
Compliance with international security standards

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

Request a copy of any data we've processed

6. Third-Party Services

Kadenza integrates with Spotify using secure, official APIs. We never access your login credentials. You can disconnect anytime from your Spotify account settings.

Kadenza is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
